The new 63,000 sq.ft. Kindergarten to grade 12 school included a community multi-use area that shared a common stage. The facility has a total of 10 portable classrooms, consisting of concrete pile foundations, structural concrete grade beams, block walls, and structural steel roof supports. The main and second floor were structural concrete. Safety played an important role on this project as the building was in close proximity to the existing elementary school, which remained open and occupied during construction. Upon completion of the new school, the old school was demolished and a playground and landscape area was installed.
