Westridge Construction is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to our team. This is a full-time position reporting to the General Superintendent. We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels, from developing Superintendents to those capable of leading large, complex projects.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations on one or multiple construction projects
  • Lead projects of varying size and complexity (approximately $0 – $100M+) depending on experience
  • Ensure site safety standards are met in collaboration with safety personnel
  • Coordinate and manage site setup (utilities, offices, access, hoarding, material handling, etc.)
  • Lead weekly planning meetings and support project scheduling
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Coordinators on execution and methodology
  • Coordinate labour requirements with HR and Field Services
  • Supervise and support Foremen, Lead Hands, and field staff (scope dependent on experience)
  • Manage subcontractors, including contract compliance and site performance
  • Participate in project meetings (handover, review, pre-bid, etc.)
  • Contribute to change pricing and monthly project reporting
  • Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, photos, timesheets, etc.)
  • Support QA/QC processes on site
  • Track labour productivity and site performance
  • Manage site equipment, tools, and material procurement
  • Mentor and develop field staff
  • Promote teamwork, innovation, and Westridge values
  • Work out of town as required


What You Bring

We are open to a range of experience levels. The right candidate will demonstrate many of the following:

  • 5–10+ years of construction experience, with increasing responsibility in a Superintendent or leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage construction sites, with exposure to projects of varying size and complexity
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics
  • Experience supervising crews and coordinating subcontractors
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Solid administrative and organizational skills (reports, timesheets, documentation, etc.)
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills with field staff, subcontractors, consultants, and owners
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and team culture
