Every Westridge employee has the right to a safe and healthy workplace. The personal health and safety of each employee of Westridge is of primary importance. The prevention of occupationally induced injuries and illness is of such consequence that it will where necessary be given priority over operating productivity. To the greatest degree possible, management will provide all mechanical and physical facilities required for personal safety and health in keeping with the highest standards.
Our Health and Safety Program follows the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association’s Certificate of Recognition (COR) layout including 16 elements from hazard assessments and safe work practices to claims management. Westridge Construction achieved their first COR certification in 2004 and has maintained good standing since that time due to proactive involvement and ongoing auditing of the program. We provide extensive training to our field and management staff to ensure they are properly equipped to perform their duties with our Health and Safety program.
Our objective is a health and safety program that will minimize the number of near misses, injuries and illnesses. Our goal at Westridge is zero accidents and injuries.
