The Septage Receiving Station is designed to process septic waste in both its liquid and solid form. The station is approximately 7,265 ft2 and houses the following: main process area, control room, mechanical room complete with all new equipment including plant service water piping & booster pumping, heating ventilation and air conditioning systems, glycol boilers for heating the new snow melt system in the exterior concrete unloading pad, electrical room housing all the instrumentation and controls with a fully functional programmable logic controller, odour control room which stores a sophisticated carbon scrubber odour control system to eliminate odours to the environment, and a five ton overhead crane. The building is complete with 21’ high masonry walls with split face block veneer and a wood frame truss roof with metal cladding.
